How does one get readings from large antennas? Are the streams public?
I don't think most of this data is published, but you might be able to get access to AMSAT-DL data from their 20m dish in Bochum.

I look forward to Escapade Blue and Gold returning, I plan to have a look at them with my X band setup. I'm running a 1.2m offset, which is significantly larger than the 60cm Daniel was using here.
I believe he's using a 6m antenna at the Allen Telescope Array (ATA).
Oh dear, you're correct. the 60cm antennas are on the sats themselves. Still, I might be able to get enough signal to see carrier, and maybe more given they'll be coming at us instead of going away next time around.
