Windows debloat script made by Microsoft

Another script to consider that has been around a while and has a number of contributors [1]. that does remove telemetry and optionally many other things. Always back up your registry and systems before using such scripts.

There are indeed many other alternatives that are more complete, but they always bundle or make you download an opaque binary file.

The script I linked is a collection of PowerShell, .bat and .reg files unless something changed recently.

I'm not sure I trust Microsoft's take on a debloat script for their own OS.

Sure it will have less stuff, but I suspect there may be some remnants purposefully left behind.

There definitely are. I don't see anything touching most of the telemetry here, cortana, etc.

This looks like a basic default apps store uninstall and not much else.

I’d like to think there is a Microsoft developer out there that used this script on the very machine that is helping create one of the listed applications that was removed.

This just removes the APPX packages but keeps all other bloat (system-wide telemetry and such).
