Murphyjitsu (2018)

On one hand, this is valuable advice. On the other hand, it is classic rationalist waffle: basic self-help/therapy techniques disguised with made-up terminology.

the thing about a lot of self-help stuff is that you have to somehow get your brain to accept it as a tool. the terminology is meant to help with that; one person might be more amenable to a technique if it's labeled "life hacking", another might prefer "manifesting positive energy", a third might lean on psychology jargon. at the end of the day what matters is that you use the technique to help you, rather than dismiss it as "self help bs".
