I'm a fullstack web developer with management, design, and product expertise, now with 11+ years experience writing code full-time. I've worked on lots of interesting and successful projects over the years in exciting spaces, from academia to e-commerce, fintech to medtech, across various tech stacks, where I'd like to say I bring a heavy appetite for problems to solve and a unique approach/flair for creating compelling products. To be totally candid, I'm coming off a year spent driving 2 early-stage startups (principally one I've cofounded) toward profitability and traction; a thrilling, difficult, exhausting, humbling, and worthwhile thing. Certain present realities have set in, and I'm turning my sights toward my next role doing that which I respectfully submit I do best: turning dreams, wireframes, and DB diagrams into battle-tested and beautiful apps and other deliverables for all sorts of audiences. I'm open to new stacks, new product spaces, new market opportunities, and new ideas. Feel free to contact me if you think we might be a good fit.

Hey, I'm Cameron! I enjoy building dynamic, high-performance applications—ranging from responsive UIs with React to real-time backend systems that scale. Most recently, I created Willow, an open-source framework for building Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines. It leverages Kafka, Debezium, and PostgreSQL to process database changes in real time. You can check it out here: https://willow-cdc.github.io/.
What I bring to the table: - React & Frontend Expertise: Built component-driven UIs with React, TypeScript, and Material UI - Backend & Data Processing: Designed scalable APIs, database workflows, and event-driven systems - Distributed Systems & Real-Time Data: Worked with Kafka, WebSockets, Redis, and CDC pipelines - DevOps Awareness: Experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and performance tuning
I'm looking for remote opportunities where I can work on scalable web apps, high-performance APIs, and data-driven workflows. If that sounds like a fit, let’s chat!
Deep hands-on expertise in Python-based backend development, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent document processing, with additional experience across JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.

I'm a Full Stack web developer with 6+ years of experience, first at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, then at Vannevar Labs, a defense startup. I've taken on roles including web app design and development, improving observability and automation in large scale data pipelines, team leadership, and developing services to configure and secure deployments to cloud infrastructure. I've worked with a large variety of technologies, and developed a robust set of skills in all layers of the web dev software stack.
Startup-minded Senior Front-End / Full-Stack Developer (TypeScript, Angular, React, Next.js, NestJS, Tailwind) with 9+ years of experience in EU/US startups and enterprises (fintech, e-commerce, KYC, green-tech). Front-end/UI focused but full-stack capable. Built and launched products end-to-end — including AI-powered SaaS. Thrive in async-first, remote teams; comfortable with EST hours.
Résumé/CV: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FiKwwJaH3kVvS2GHOladVzAAiie...I currently have 20 hours/week available. I'm not considering full time roles at this time, only contract work. Thanks.
Location: Paris, France
Remote: Remote first, but I enjoy spending time with my collaborators (especially at the beginning of a mission) and traveling for work from time to time.
Willing to relocate: Temporarily, depending on the job but not for more than 6 months.
Technologies: Can learn anything web related very quickly but I'm especially proficient as a full stack working with a boring Python/Django/PostgreSQL stack. I enjoy working with Vue.js or Svelte but I will keep using HTMX or Alpine.js whenever I can out of simplicity. Happy to use low-code tools and vibe code stuff when it makes sense. I can also use Cloud solutions (GCP, Render, Heroku, AWS) or administrate a Linux server.

Python/Django specialist looking for projects bridging tech and visual arts. Currently available for freelance work. I bring 5+ years building production software—from co-founding a legal tech startup where I wore every hat from Linux sysadmin to team lead, to a recent stint at Louis Vuitton on JS/TypeScript. Comfortable across the stack, with particular depth in data pipelines, ML/computer vision, and making things work reliably at scale. M.S. in Computer Science (computer vision) from Sorbonne, dual B.S. in Math & CS, plus a foundation year in applied arts. This mix shows up in my work—I care about both what's under the hood and what users actually see.
I'm quite good with people and enjoy being part of a team. Looking for interesting projects at the intersection of software and visual/creative domains, or anything hardware / real world related -- but honestly, I enjoy hard problems wherever they live.
Open to contracts, part-time collaborations, or interesting project-based work. Based in Paris, remote-friendly.
Don't hesitate to get in touch. ;-)
Regards.

Over a decade of experience in Senior and Staff engineering roles building scalable systems and user interfaces. I have extensive background working cross functionally in an organization to create and steward technical roadmaps, meet business objectives and keeping teams from hitting technical roadblocks. I help build teams up sustainably and have extensive experience in technical leadership and mentoring peers.
My background for the last 4 years in particular has been on scaling a business, with a general focus on the user experience and technical stability. Taking a product or suite of products from 400 to 40,000 active users without losing control of performance and keeping the user experience approachable is where I shine best. This means addressing performance impacting hot spots, adoption of new tools or improving existing ones, proper A/B testing, gathering user experience data to identify pain points and most importantly empowering teams to move fast sustainably through best practice.
Open to remote and available for frequent travel
Startups preferred, earlier the better.

About: I work as a Data Engineer and am highly skilled in Statistical Analysis, Data Science, and DevOps. I have 10 years of professional experience, and have shipped lots of quality code to Production (that scales) in that time. I mainly use Python, SQL, Bash, AWS, but have worked with lower-level programming languages as well, and have deep dived on many of these tools/platforms. I am a strong problem solver and a responsible team member with a KISS and deliver-first mindset, to which others can attest. I am open to full or part-time work, hybrid or remote.
Have done & can do full-stack work (helped last company grow from three engineers and through acquisition) but lean towards backend/infrastructure in expertise. Most recently platform technical lead (IC).
MEng EE & CS blend. (No professional EE experience, but somewhat maintained as a hobby.) 8y post-intern experience in web software.
Looking for something new to sink my teeth into in an organisation with room to grow. Remote opportunities only please, and that I'm eligible for residing in the UK & as a British citizen, though I'm perfectly willing to travel for particular events/big meetings. Cheers!

I'm looking to get back into a more typical Software Engineering role rather than my current customer-facing position as a "Customer Support Engineer". I would describe myself as a mid-level engineer, but the goal is to reach a senior level title at a company with a high bar.
My professional work's covered in my résumé, but that's mostly boring. I've also written a NES emulator [1], an ECS-based Lisp machine/rule engine [2], a self-organizing gossip mesh that learns to play Flappy Bird [3], and ported _Zork_ to Clojure for no good reason [4]. I also started working on a Math/CS educational site late last year to combat a wave of depression [5].
I'm a bit of an odd duck and don't fit what many teams are seeking, but I'm always growing and getting better, usually in the weirdest possible way. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you.

I’m a product-focused full stack engineer with over a decade of experience in fiddling with software. My journey into programming began during high school when I started running my own gaming server. Since then, I’ve dabbled in open-source software and early-stage startups. I learn quickly and thrive in challenging environments where I get to take ownership of the work. Most recently, I worked at Jiva, an AgriTech transforming smallholder farming in Indonesia through tech-enabled supply chains. Before that, I was at a B2B SaaS reforming the headcount management space, and prior to that at a lending startup, where I dealt with all things tech while understanding credit cards and the compliance and regulations of running a fintech in India.

Quick bg: started in session-based recsys research (as transformers were taking over), spent some time in product management, then founded a real estate development and investment company that recently sold an eight-figure GDV project in Portugal. We launched a digital R&D arm to build ML- and automation-driven products in the B2B space, which now power the intelligence backend of most of our brokerage partners and save teams more than 150 hours per month. Stepped down as managing partner to find something exciting to build in the tech space. I also enjoy building small tools to tackle niche problems, like keeping my 1K+ browser tabs under control.

I have several years experience as a data analyst, mostly in the video games industry and, more recently, in public service. A large part of this has been data engineering work which I've always found I tend to enjoy more than the analysis side. I've also always maintained a personal interest in programming working on side projects, and so, I am looking to transition into a development/data engineering role.
Lately, I have been spending my time in the embedded space working on retro game console accessories which has been very rewarding. I would love carry some of this experience into a professional role.

Hi, I'm looking for roles in data engineering, ML, and scientific computing. Interested in geospatial, environmental, agtech, and remote sensing/space work, but open to other domains.
I started my career administering an HPC cluster used to analyze large brain imaging datasets for psychiatric research at a university hospital. I completed my MS in Ecology with a computational focus, following a BS in Plant Sciences from Cornell. I'm currently building tools for the National Park Service and other public land management agencies to help make sense of complex environmental data. I recently architected and deployed a wildfire danger forecasting pipeline across 173M acres on AWS. Good at solving complex problems with limited resources. I'm an advocate of FOSS tools and I'm looking to join a team with other like-minded engineers.

Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Architect available for contract work (full-time or part-time). Prefer long-term engagements, but open to smaller, well-defined projects.
EU-based, working primarily with US clients, with flexible time zone overlap.
12+ years of professional experience delivering production systems end-to-end, from cloud architecture and infrastructure to backend and frontend development.
Primary focus: - AWS (Certified Developer; currently preparing for Solutions Architect – Professional) - Cloud architecture & DevOps - Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines - Backend systems (C#, microservices) - Frontend when needed (React)
I move fast, write clean, maintainable code, and use modern tools (including AI-assisted workflows) to increase velocity without cutting corners. Vetted in the top 3% of developers worldwide via Toptal.
Engineering Highlights:
• Built a WCAG-compliant accessibility engine: Developed a full-stack scanning platform from scratch (Node.js/Vue). Solved the challenge of real-time DOM auditing and automated remediation via an embeddable widget. Currently in beta with enterprise clients.
• Architected high-performance scraping infrastructure: Engineered a scalable data-processing service using Puppeteer and MongoDB. Optimized it to handle 1,000+ complex records efficiently, bypassing dynamic rendering hurdles.
• SEO & Performance Engineering: Led the technical SEO and content strategy for a platform reaching 2M+ organic visitors. Focused on Core Web Vitals, SSR optimization (Next.js), and semantic HTML to drive growth.
• Product Ownership: I don't just close tickets; I actively shape the roadmap. I've spent the last year translating business requirements from stakeholder meetings into stable, production-ready features.
Currently seeking roles in Tokyo or remote-first companies. I value TypeScript-heavy codebases, Agile workflows, and teams that treat frontend as a serious engineering discipline.

What I’m looking for:
• Roles: Senior / Staff Backend Engineer or Tech-Lead positions
• Engagement: Long-term, direct hire or contract-to-hire with meaningful equity; I enjoy building products and teams, not just features
Why me:
• Designed & scaled a payment platform serving 1000+ merchants and processing billions of USD in the last 4.5 years in the middle east.
• Habitual refactorer: cut 700 Django migrations to <200, shaved 60 % off deploy times, and drove P99 API latency below 150 ms
• Clear, async-first communicator; fluent in English
• Enjoy mentoring, code reviews, and turning business specs into maintainable architecture. Work should be fun.
If you need a senior engineer who can own a codebase, level-up the team, and ship reliably, let’s talk.

Hi, I'm Michael Geary. I've programmed in many languages and environments over the years. Some of my current interests are:
• Developer experience. I love helping my fellow developers solve problems, and building tools to make their jobs easier and more enjoyable.
• Aviation and geographic data. For example, airspace and obstacle data importers for Wing; election results and voter information maps for Google; many interactive maps for other companies.
• Hardware interfacing. In a way, I am a "full stack" developer, but my stack may involve a front end to a piece of hardware rather than the cloud. I first got into programming via ham radio, so RF hardware remains an interest.
• Designing and building APIs. Too often an API is designed by exposing the internals of whatever system provides the API. My philosophy is the opposite: start with the apps. I like to build a series of sample apps before starting on the API. This way I can imagine what API will make those apps and others like them easy to build.
• Talk with users! I don't like to sit in a back room cranking out code. I want to make sure it's the right code for what my users need, and that it's easy to maintain and improve as we learn more about what they want.
Open to full time or contract.
I look forward to talking with you!

I'm at my strongest on the backend but have no fear of interfaces. Data wrangling and message passing comes easy for me, and if you want me to I'll learn both new programming languages and complex regulations needed to judge what we can and can't do.
A lot of my work experience has been spent on so called legacy code, so that's something I'm good at. Perhaps there are 2 MLOC ticking away on a server that no one has touched in years, perhaps you just bought a competing product and want to chop out the good parts, I'll sit down and fix it and show up on your screen every now and then and tell you how it goes and what it would require to do it faster. You'll also get diagrams and show-and-tells aimed at people with background in non-technical professions, and documentation that smooths the on-boarding of juniors.
English is fine, born into swedish, if you pay me while I do it I'll dust off my german or spanish and aim for fluency within a year. At work I'm not as grumpy as I might be when posting off here, I'm actually pretty easy-going and quite solution oriented, as it is required when doing the kind of work for lawyers, the government and profitable B2B customers that I have.
If you have financing and would like to build a business doing software due diligence, e.g. towards investors, creditors, bankruptcy lawyers or whatever, then I'd really, really like to come into contact with you. That's what I've been doing the past few years but didn't have the organisation to bring to stable profitability.
So this website is filled mostly with tech founder adjacent users, so my pitch is a bit specific to that market.
If you are a startup founder trying to develop a global product, I'm offering country-specific localization (Argentina currently), everything from language and dialect localization, to integration of local methods and support channels to payment/support aggregators.
Want to dominate the world? Try bottom up, perfecting a single market, instead of top down, aiming everywhere and seeing what sticks.
Why not focus on the US? You can try both for sure, but a smaller country is less competitive and easier to get a big win on (niche domination). You won't make as much money, GDP per capita is about one third of the US, but it's still profit, not VC-backed losses.
I work on a small fixed fee + commission basis. The goal is to only hit it big if you do too, and live on rice otherwise.
If that's sounds interesting, you can send me an email at localization@tomaszubiri.com, sure, but ideally you can write me a message in this thread directly.

You have a Web/Mobile app that's a mess? That needs some love and a responsible maintainer? Or need to migrate an old codebase to something more modern? A web app that's not responsive for a mobile screen and needs some optimizations?
Where other programmers find enjoyment in working with new shiny infra/frameworks/tech stacks I find enjoyment and purpose on maintaning stuff, taking care of software that powers current systems and serve real users. No matter how old the tech stack is, today more than ever it is crucial to make software reliable and stable. I maintained and migrated many systems over the years, doing it gradually over short or longer time periods depending on the task, with an eye to quality and with the help of tests.
I’m an experienced remote worker, based in the EU. I over communicate and willing to build trust. I’m a contractor and I already have some gigs, I’m currently available for ~20hrs/week at 35/40€/hr depending on the project.
A note on AI coding: I know how to best leverage these tools in assisting me BUT I’m the solely responsible for the code I push so you won’t get any slop or vide coded stuff from me. I know when to use these tools, when not and for what.

I've been using Go as my primary language for the last nine years, although I don't overly care about the specific language and have experience with a wide variety of tools and languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, C, JavaScript, Lua, and probably some more. While I've mainly focused on backend in the last few years, I also have written plenty of frontend code over the years, from the "pre-jQuery" days to VueJS.
In the last few years I mainly focused on GoatCounter (https://www.goatcounter.com) with the occasional contract job, but I'm keen to start working on something new for the longer term.
I've got quite a bit of code on my GitHub, so you can take a look at that if you want: https://github.com/arp242
