Scaling up enhanced rock weathering for equitable climate change mitigation

I think this paper would have benefited from evidenced of HOW to scale up rock weathering industry so it is not asocial, has less side effects.

This is like having road grit plants producing megatonnes and megatonnes of powder, to be spread widely in fields, in the landscape, at sea, on waterways.

Or, some kind of industrialised process to get atmospheric gas exchange happening into rocks, which demands energy inputs and giant factories. Or, modification of existing powerplants which may predicate their use against alternatives.

This is all second-order effect stuff but I think they could have been more explicit.

What would this actually look like, at scale, to me as a person in the landscape?
